Paper Sticks
We provide quality paper sticks, manufactured by Setter Paperstix in Germany, used for the production and packaging of cotton swabs and
lollipops.
Our paper sticks are manufactured from quality specialised paper using
state-of-the-art technology. They can be manufactured in various degrees of flexibility and can be tailor-made to length and diameter.
These versatile paper sticks are manufactured using raw materials from a renewable source, which means they are completely biodegradable and do not pose any threat to the environment. This also means they are completely dissolved in the stomach without harm if accidentally ingested.
Cotton String
- Basic production cycle with Ringspun or Open End system
- Electronically controlled yardage
- Minimum defects left which may caused stoppages (Elkocontrol)
- Waterproofing system in the final thread
- Splicing system to avoid knots
For the European Community Laws and U.S.: Food and Drug Administration, we comply with the following rules for all our items:
- Use raw cotton at 100% free from defoliants and other chemicals (as from certification OEKO-TEX Standard 100)
- Treat cottons for mildew prevention
- Dyeing with non-optical chemicals (as from certification OEKO-TEX Standard 100)
- Boiled and sterilised thread
- Lubricate threads with edible oils and wax
- All our raw material and the Dyeing process are accompanied from “Passed for harmful substances” (as from certification OEKO-TEX Standard 100)
